Economist John Nash

John Nash was the 1994 Nobel Laureate in Economics. His story was told in the movie a A Beautiful Mind.

There was quite a bit of creative license involved in the film, but it contains an excellent description for helping us understand the nature of his theory. Nash believed that the theories of the great economist Adam Smith did not go far enough with the idea that economy works best when individuals pursue their separate interests.

I suggest seeing the movie. It can be very enlightening as well as entertaining.
